The simplest answer is that his company went out of business. Why his company went out of business is not likely known to anyone but him (Troy), but it probably had a lot to do with poor customer service and missed product delivery promises to too many customers. Guessing that caused orders to dry up. Now Troy works as the wheel builder at Fairwheel in AZ.

By the way, I am about to replace my Ligero "Model 1" wheels built on his last model hubs and ceramic-coated XR-300 rims. They have probably 1,000-2,000 miles on them and are in perfect working order. Let me know if you're interested in buying them.

A few years ago after Troy started producing his last model of 2:1 hub, Fairwheel did post measurements and other comments about them (and many others) as part of a broad hub review. It used to be here, but is now gone: http://fairwheelbikes.com/forum/view...hp?f=65&t=6940

Maybe contact Fairwheel and ask them? Or contact "madcow" on the Weight Weenies forum (he's at Fariwheel).

correct. same flange spacing as the 1:1 drilled ones.
But the NDS flange spacing is kind of wide on those hubs.

I hope Troy landed somewhere good. I had a set of his wheels that well built. I eventually found some rims I liked better and rebuilt the hubs on the new rims. I followed Troy's spoking pattern though and it's worked well on the new wheels.
