Anyone know about/have experience with these tires? Are they geared more towards training or racing?

• Microtextured shoulder for enhanced
• grip while cornering

• 700x23c
Conparisons from Willaims:
(1) Vittoria Open Corsa Evo CX 210g $75
(2) Continental Grand Prix 4000s 215g $75
(3) Michelin Pro 3 Grip 194g $60

Somewhat apples to oranges compariosn. They are comparing a 150 tpi tire to tires that are up in the 300+ tpi category (at least the Vittoria is). I would think a better comparison would be something like the Vittoria Rubino (heck, these might be re-labeled Rubinos). I know alot of guys on here train on Rubinos and they'd certainly be race-able, but you'd probably be giving up a bit of grip and comfort at the upper end of the spectrum.

Thanks, Kris. I have GP4000s on my EA90 SLXs. I was just exploring some other options, since I don't know as much about tires as I do about other components.

Sure thing. I just took a look at them and they look kind of like the Michelin Pro3s, but alot of tires look the same. I'd be curious what makes these "different" once you get past the marketing hype.
