    Shimano Ultegra ST-6600 shifting issue

I recently bought a used 2006 Cervelo Team Soloist. Everything seems to be working after a good cleaning and grease but I'm stuck on the left shimano shifter. It moves but there is no audible "click" I can feel it engaging tho. Also I don't see how to pull the cable out of the shifter. I feel like I'm missing some thing. Do these cables just need to be cut when replaced?

YouTube is your friend. Much easier than me trying to explain it here.

Next time post your mechanical questions in 'components/wrenching'.

You don't need to take anything apart to remove the cable. Cut the cable and push it out of the shifter. Not sure what else to tell you, it should be very obvious.
