You go Brooks, and it is likely you'll eventually never want to ride a Plastic-Bik again.

Couldn't be said better. Don't worry about style, just about what works.

When you sit on the saddle, it's hard to tell what the rider is using. If you like the Brooks, get one.

From a looks standpoint, it would look terrible!

Now, what more important to you. Looks or that BROOKS saddle?

Why BROOKS? Do you prefer full leather saddles? Width and shape?
If its due to shape and size, find a saddle that replicates the model you want.

If you must use the BROOKS, then go for it! Its your choice, your bike. If its the most comfortable and you will ride more, then go for it.

    Yeah right!

My plastic ride with a thin, plastic and lorica saddle feels just as nice and smooth as my steel ride with a BROOKS Swift and 25mm tires!

when I find another saddle that I can ride 50 miles without as much as standing up on the pedals for a butt break, then I'll put one on here

There is a thread in the Lounge detailing the "OEH Hill Climb"

Take a look through it. ChiliconCarnage was there with his Look ( 565??) with a white An-Atomica on it.

    Looked dynamite.

    Really.

like they said....the saddle doesn't really show when you are on it...EXCEPT the metal BROOKS plate on the rear. That is guaranteed to tick someone off as you pass their weight weenie 14 pound bike....
    Of course I'm sure...that doesn't mean I'm right.....

I am 100% Brooks, but I would go with black for your bike rather than honey.

I'm running a black Selle An-Atomica on my 2009 Madone 5.x and it looks just fine (and feels sooooo fine).

I am not to far from their shop. I am thinking of having a Brooks modified by them.
