Disc brake fork on a rim brake frame

Has anyone ran a road bike with a disc brake fork with a rim brake frame for an extended period of time? How did it go?

Don't know of anyone doing it. But the forces on the frame would be identical. The frame doesn't care where on the fork the braking force is applied.

There's no reason it wouldn't work. Only issue would be the feel and modulation between the front disc and rear rim. Might take some getting use to.
