    10spd chain on 11spd record crankset

    Will 10spd record chain work on 11 SPF crankset?

    don't think so 10 spd chain is 5.9mm and 11 spd is 5.4mm.

    Depends on what you're trying to do. If its a 10sp drivetrain that you want to put 11sp cranks on then there is a chance it will work.
    If its a 10sp chain on 11sp drivetrain then it will be too wide

    As noted, the 10 speed chain won't work with an 11 speed cassette, but it will work with the crank. The only possible problem is increased chain rub when cross chaining. With a compact, the little ring and second cog should be useable, but with a wider chain you might get some rub. The little ring and first (smallest) cog should never be used.

    Thanks guys ..ended up buying a record 10 crankset instead to avoid any problem.
