Bike commuting is better than car commuting

(among other reasons) because you can stop and admire the view, even when it's kind of ordinary.

    Amen!

I remember going across a bridge once in my car. Folks riding by on their bikes kept pointing at something, but sitting down in my car I wasn't able to see. Fortunately curiosity only kills cats.

Absolutly, and the world at 12-15 mph is a lot calmer and more relaxed place.

    Thanks for sharing.

Bike commuting is better than car commuting

My commute (fortunately only 2-3 times a week) is 75 miles each way, 100+ on a bike avoiding the interstate, so cycling to work is impractical. Gonna try the motorcycle a few times this year, though.
