    DC pm 2/7/05 checking out.

We have one of the most beautiful commutes there can possibly be. I left work just before sunset, rode past the Wall, Lincoln, Washington and Jefferson.

I meet Miss M down on Ohio Drive. She rode around a bit while I got some bike porn.

we meet most nights and cross the river to take the trail to Georgetown. Tonight we stopped at Safeway for a little shopping (one of the many places around where we keep a lock stashed).

Jam the bag full, ride one last mile, put the bikes away and it is time for dinner.

    Life is good.

Waitaminnit. What happened to the snow?

Wasn't it last week that you posted a shot of the Wall, and it was practically buried? Looks like the ice is about melted on the reflecting pool, too.

It's almost too easy for you to keep giving us this sort of ride report eye candy, with Washington having so great subjects to shoot. We need to see what you could do with, oh, Bakersfield or El Paso sometime.

    Keep it coming....

Mannn, we used to ride all over the mall area back in the late 80's. I remember riding my schwinn high sierra down the lincoln memorial steps with a park ranger yelling at me. I didn't know it was a no-no. Boy she was po'ed.

    Cool shots. Thanks!

    when I worked for Santana.

I often took a detour into the hills before work. It was really pretty. Too bad I didn't have a digital camera back then (or the internet).
