    11 speed chain of choice?

I get 500-800 miles per Ultegra chain on CX during winter (very sandy/gritty trails), about double that the rest of the year, and 2-3k per Dura Ace chain on road.

I think I'll try KMC X11SL next but wanted to see what RBR liked.

I get 5000 miles at least of out of a Dura Ace chain on the road, it's my chain of choice there. For gravel I use Ultegra and replace it annually which is long before needed but it's cheap insurance when out in the middle of nowhere.

Didn't you start a similar thread awhile back about how you go through chains like water? I guess you still haven't figured out why this is happening?

2-3k for a chain (of any kind) on the road doesn't sound long at all

But don't bother with KMC. They won't be smooth as Shimano ones (for 11spd drivetrain). The reason is there is a slight difference of the side plates profile of Shimano ones vs KMC ones. Stick with Shimano if I were you.

I have KMC X11SL on all three of my 11-sp bikes (two road and one 'cross) and I've been very happy with their wear and performance.
