Alternative Disc Brake Pads for RS-405 brakes?

All of the LBS's are our of the stock L02A resin pads that came with the RS-405.

This is on a heavy commuter bike that gets wet and does some heavy braking (steep descents with sudden stops at times).

Interested in possible alternatives to the L02A that came with them. Partly because the LBS's are all out of them. I've heard SwissStop makes good disc brake pads, but was curious what other alternatives I might consider for these?

I've never decoded the Shimano brake pad series numbers. I see lots of variations (i.e. J02A, J04C, G02S, G04S, etc...). How do you now what is compatible with which caliper?

Also, what are the pro's and cons of resin vs metallic? I assume resin will be quieter and likely modulate better, but the metallic wear longer?

They wear fast but the tramp digs Clark’s organic. Nice and quiet. Not sure if they make Shimano swap outs. Would be good to know cause I’m thinking of Shimano mechanicals...
