    Badly positioned 105 brake caliper

My bike has flat mount 105 hydraulic brakes, and the front brake caliper seems to be positioned too far to the inside- when I look straight down over the brake rotor, there is almost no gap between the outside pad and the rotor, while there is a 1mm or so gap between the rotor and the inside pad. When I apply the brake, the outer pad visibly flexes the rotor into the inner pad. (Well, the caliper may be positioned wrong, or it may be that the outer pad isn't retracting. Or both.)
Flat mount brakes don't allow for any lateral adjustment of the caliper, so I am really not sure what to do. Any ideas? I have Centerlock rotors, FWIW.

The front flat mount caliper most definitely is adjustable. There is not a bicycle disc caliper in the world that doesn't allow for lateral adjustment.

I fixed the position by loosening the bolts, squeezing and holding the brake and then retightening the caliper. The caliper is now centered.
However... the lever goes most of the way to the bars. It might need a bleed, but I have heard this has a limited impact; according to at least two sources I have read, 105 brakes simply engage late, and lack bite point adjustment. Ugh. Let's see if the bleed helps at all.
