calling CX wrench - DA 9000 hub question

While repacking my DA rear hub, I popped out the rubber seals to wipe the bearing race and can't seem to get it back correctly.

Is this correct? The seal with the metal ring goes on the NDS with the rubber side out and the rubber seal with the deep channel goes on the freehub side with the deep channel facing out and the flat side facing to the inside next to the bearings. I can't seem to get the drive side seal to seat correctly. As a result, it sits unevenly and I can't get the bearing tension correct.

I checked and compared it to my other DA 9000 rear hub and the only difference seeems to be the drive side rubber seal.

What am I missing or doing incorrectly? I have been repacking hubs since the days of Campy 5 speed so I have done this a few times.

never mind, took a break, checked Shimano tech documents and went back, the DS seal went right in and straight - all good now.
