    Smile Yup!

9 speed DA, Ultegra and even 105 mix well.

I put almost 4000 miles on my 8 speed Shimano 600 drivetrain using an 8 speed 'Dura Ace chain. Even with the early STI it shifted and lasted just fine.

Works fine - just cosmetic difference

The Dura Ace chain will work fine. The difference between the Dura Ace and the HG-93 chain is just zinc alloy plating on the inner and outer plates and chromizing treatment link pin. These are really cosmetic differences - the Dura-Ace chain looks shiny silver instead of gray. The Dura Ace chain will not last longer or work better.

Not to argue but I believe it's the added nickel that makes D-A chains shine, also makes them more corrosion resistent. I got 8000 miles out of a 9-speed D-A chain. And I replaced it with another D-A chain.
