Will need to know what wheels you have of course. Many you can pull the hub off with the cassette on it to clean and lube the freewheel mechanism. First time you pull them off it can be quite a tug needed but easier the next time.

Now you are really scaring us! I did that when I was 14 and trashed a freewheel. BTW, you don't have a freewheel, you have a freehub with a cassette.

Pretty sure you're a troll. If not you're going to transition very quickly from 'fixing' your bike to ruining it.

OK, people, I warned you last week this poster was a troll with his WD-40 thread. Now that he's doing the classic "hammer and screwdriver repair" troll, maybe you'll listen? I'm nearly certain it's just 11sp's latest persona.

Ignore the troll, and he'll go away....

Let me give you some advice. STOP LUBING PARTS WITH WD40!!!!!

You're what is called mechanically declined and a hack. Stop abusing that bike and take it to a shop to have any further work done to it before you damage something beyond repair.

No, he's just trolling us. Either that or he's a large stockholder of WD-40 stock.
