    Front derailleur compatibility

I have a mountain bike that has been modified for the road, and I am updating this from an 8-speed to a 10-speed. In the process of changing the shifters, I realize that with road shifters, I would need to have a road specific front derailleur. My current derailleur is a top swing and I am having trouble finding a top swing, road derailleur for a 10-speed triple.
But it occurred to me that I am running bar-end shifters that are not indexed up front. So will the 10-speed Dura Ace bar-ends work with a mountain front derailleur?

    Yes, they will.

ETA: You can stop looking, you'll never find a road derailleur that's top swing.
I work for some bike racers
I've got some bikes, some guns,
    and a bunch of skateboards
