    internal battery charging

For those running the BTR-2 seatpost battery, can we plug into the USB-electric adapter used to charge iPhones? Shimano instructions say an adapter must allow at least a 1.0A current flow, but I don't know specs on the Apple piece. Or any other wall socket adapter anyone's using? I have the BCR-2 charger.

Output spex of the Apple charger are printed right on it between the wall prongs. Not easy to see though. The ones I have are 1A.

AFAIK, the output spex of all wall charges are printed on them somewhere: AC, DC, nominal voltage and max current. What's often not indicated is whether they're regulated or not. All USB chargers are regulated at a nominal 5V.
    ... 'cuz that's how I roll.

Thanks for the reply---you're right, it is hard to read but looks like it meets the requirement. Easier than using a laptop all the time, at least in my house.

Yes, at least the iPhone AC adapter I have meets the specs. I had to use a magnifying glass to read the output specs from the adapter, but 5V - 1A meets the charging requirements of the battery
