I am converting a drop bar road bike to flat bar, so I am looking for inexpensive brake levers that will work with road calipers.
I was looking at the Tiagra BL-4700 levers. It is a road group so I assumed they work with road calipers.
However, I am a little hesitant due to the claim that they are compatible with V-Brakes AND road calipers (and road disc brakes). How can it work well with both? They have different pull ratios.
Do the levers have some sort of pull-ratio adjustment? Or is the pull just somewhere in between the two brake types (and sucks at both)?
Thanks.
