    removing a bb86

Any tips? I'm trying to replace the bb on a new to me argon 18 gallium pro. I'm using the proper tools but I can't get it to budge. I have watched numerous videos and other than whacking the fool out of it, I don't see that I'm doing it wrong. I've replaced bb30s and all kinds of threaded bb's so I'm not a newb.
nm - I just needed a bigger hammer.

You may need the assistance of someone to hold the frame steady while you beat the tool senseless. It can take some serious violence.

I used a dense foam pad to place the frame on while holding it in my lap and sitting on the ground. After each hit I had to be sure the main triangle was still on the pad taking care that the seat stays were not where they would get any stress from the side. The bearing broke loose on the 3rd good hit. I like threaded bbs better.
