    Specialized mechanics

New to replacing derailer cables, have a Stumpjumper Expert 2014.
The housing runs down the down tube then runs through chainstays and looks like it is one single piece of housing that loops around to rear derailer.....just wanted to confirm this with anyone who knows this bike.....*thanks for any help.

Head over to MTBR.com for future questions.

But to answer your current question, your bike uses full housing from the shifter to the rear derailleur.

Thanks for the help, just figured most mechanics in a Specialized or Trek shop usually worked on MTB and road.

Full housings have become more common on mountain and gravel bikes in order to lessen entry points of dirt into the housings.
