Sram 1:1 derailer with Shimano bar-end shifter?

Would a Sram 1:1 derailer work with a shimano bar-end shifter? Does the shifter have enough cable pull capacity?

    Thanks!

Since SRAM boasts that the 1:1 travel ratio of their derailleurs is much better than the 2:1 travel ratio of Shimano derailleurs, I'm guessing not.

I don't have any experience with their product, but Jtek's Shiftmate will allow mixing of SRAM and Shimano (or Campy for that matter)

Edit: I didn't see a model that would do 1:1 SRAM with Shimano shifter...just Campy. I guess you might be out of luck.
