    Thoughts Red to Di2?

So I've been hearing a lot of great things about the new Ultegra Di2. I'm thinking of dropping my Red and going to Ultegra Di2. What are some thoughts? I'm not concerned with the weight difference, but the DA Di2 is just too expensive. Yes, I know it doesn't come out till around Christmas, but it's really got me interested since I rode a DA Di2 bike. At first I was not even considering it, but after riding it, I was blown away. Anyone else have a similar experience or thinking about switching?

Go fo it. Ui2 should be great except for the weight. Personally, I am not switching because it won't make me faster. ;)

Dunno. After riding DA Di2 I was left feeling glad that I had just switched to SRAM. Front Di2 is awesome, rear is a slow piece of junk IMO, and since that's where the action is...

    To each their own.

You'll be slightly confused by the lack of noise. Other than that, are you compatible with the hood shape?

    It's more baller. Do it.

I'm using Rival on my cross bike and it just feels like some cheap toy compared to non Di2 ultegra.

I don't know about the shape of Ui2 hoods but DA di2 hoods are smaller than mechanical 7900 DA hoods and much smaller than my old 7800 DA hoods. I wear size L gloves and I find the fit perfect.

The only time I adjusted my di2 system in the past 2 years was when I switched out the rear wheel to a different brand. And that took 5 min which was mostly reading the manual. I ride cross chain w/o issue thanks to auto-trim. Rear shifts might be too slow for a sprinter but I can't relate.
