    Tire bulging

Hey All, Does anyone know of a sure fire way to keep a tire from bulging while being inflated with a floor pump? I seem to have an issue with bulging in one spot of my tires. These are the tires at 35mm, https://www.continental-tires.com/bi.../cross-king-cx I have two tires at that size that bulge. The 32mm ones do not bulge. The bulge is not huge, but is noticeable when eyeing it. Any ideas?

Either the tire is not fully seated onto the rim, or the tire was molded wrong from the factory. It is one or the other, presuming the rim is round/true and the tire is not on the verge of failure out of the box.

Impossible to say w/o seeing (thanks for the photos of your issue OP) but I'm betting it's not bulging but that it's not seated somewhere. Bulging would imply that the bead of the tire is slipping past the edge of the rim...highly unlikely.

Seems pretty obvious that your wheel has a major out-of-round issue. The tire looks seated all the way round but that's easier for you to confirm. Look at the line on the sidewall that's just above the edge of the rim, looks to me like it's consistent all the way around the tire.

Your video shows the tire out of round as it dances up and down. If you look at the rim, you will see that your rim is dancing up and down also.
I would not recommend riding that wheel until it is trued and round. I had a wheel/tire that was like that once, I was riding an the tire blew out. I put another tire on and then on the next ride, ... it blew out. I thought it was the tire too, but it was the rim and everytime that high place hits the pavement it flexes the tire. At 30mph that is a lot of flexing and the tire overheats and lets go.
Take it somewhere and get it fixed.

I just noticed in the video that the inside of the rim bulges as well at the same point of the tire. The rim bulges as there are cracks on it where it meets the nipple. Three different cracks

Rim is toast, not fixable and potentially dangerous if continued to be used.

It seems to be the case. I don't know much about the rim other than it is 700C 622-20 seems to be the minimum tire width judging by the sticker. It's for a hybrid bike. Would any 700C disc rim do, or would I need something specific for it? The rim is WheelTech TD26 by Alex Rims.
