    Torque Wrench Attachments

So where do you all get allen attachments in all the sizes you need? It's hard enough to get a 8 or 10mm metric allen wrench at a home depot, but where do you get the "bit" for a torque wrench?

    Thanks!!!

Harbor Freight sells a set of 3/8" Allen or Torx sockets for much less than the Sears Craftsman set.Quality seems OK but not as nice as the Craftsman.I got the Harbor Freight set for $10 on sale.Nashbar is selling a 10 piece Michigan Industrial set for $14.95 before coupons. You will need an 3/8"to 1/4" adapter for many torque wrenches in the lower torque range-$1 at Harbor Freight on sale.

I purchased both my Torx and Metric Allen Wrench in 3/8 sockets from Lowes.

I can assure you that at least some Home Depots carry Husky brand 3/8" drive metric hex bits, because I bought a set there less than a year ago. I think my set covers something like 4-10mm. I've also seen them at larger auto parts chain stores (e.g. Autozone, Pep Boys), and Sears of course. Finding a set in 1/4" drive is a little trickier unless you go mail order. Tooltopia.com has some low cost sets (as well as high-bling SK Tools and Assenmacher).

    Walmart...

Surprised me they had them. A metric set containing 3-8, 10mm by Stanley was either $10 or $15 dollars.
