Is this type of dropout wear normal?

    Hello,

I have a 2018 Allez with low miles. Strava says about 510. I recently upgraded to some HED Jet wheels and noticed what I would consider to a fair amount of wear. It is only on the drive side dropout that faces the hub. The rest of the dropouts show very little wear at all. I have had some full carbon bikes with exposed carbon that haven't looked so deep. Is this type of wear self limiting? Could this be from the new wheelset's sharper teeth? I tend to keep the rear QR on the tighter side of things. Thanks!

Probably the first time a QR was tightened on the hub, the serrations on the hub lock nut made those impressions in the metal of the dropout.
