    Ultegra Triple to Double

A quick question...I would like to change from Ultegra triple to double. Do I need to get a new front and rear derailleur aside from the obvious new crankset/bottom bracket? Thanks.

Your triple derailleurs should work with a double setup just fine. Double derailleurs would be better because the are lighter and would probably shift a little quicker. It's up to you.

When I changed from double to triple I replaced the RD and don't think it was critically necessary. BTW - I have all of the new (less than 200 miles on it) Ultegra double eqpt that I replaced (FD, cranks, RD and BB) sitting here if you're interested.

    Good luck, Jim

I would be interested in the BB. I already have the cranks. What is the size of the BB?

    Jim,

I PM'd you about the rest of the equipment you may have left. Just wondering what prices may be. Thanks.
