    wow Sram 11sp disappeared!

That did not take long at all. sheesh

been on the sidelines looking for a deal on eTap 11 speed wifli w cable brake for a year or so. never quite pulling the trigger cause ees so esspensieef. Would like it because my bike is a break-away and the cables are a bit of a pain. (and again today I find Ive destroyed another rear gear cable ha)

checking on line and it seems NO ONE carries 11 speed SRAm any more all of a sudden. Really don't want the headaches of having to buy a cassette and hub and who knows what else, cause I am married to 11 speed. grrr

guess I am back on the sidelines fishing for used items on eBay then. I missed the sweet spot half a year ago when the etap11 kits were at a good supply and low price. darnit. Really we are in a 12 speed only world now??

    ideas?

thanks man. Never heard of those vendors. keeps me hopeful, I just might pull the trigger on one of those.

My 76 yr old dad got himself eTap last winter, purchased in Germany for so much less. but hey is was it is.

Yeah, when I was looking for them this spring, I was mad that the prices were not much lower after the release of the newer version, but I can only assume that because of the price of the new unit, the original eTap was more appealing to folks. That and SRAM would not allow the companies to drop prices. I got my 1st eTap from overseas (Merlin) and it was much cheaper than in the states and I was able to find a 2nd unit in the spring for the new build for a much better price than what is offered now.

Good luck and make your decision soon because they are thinning out.

Like I said, I've ordered from Masherz and all was good.

Just be aware that Glory Cycles seems to be a drop-ship type of operation even if their website says something is "in stock." I did eventually get what I ordered, but it took a while.

As of last week, www.excelsports.com in Boulder, CO had 11 sp eTap on-hand (finally converted my TT bike over to eTap and loving it!)
