    23 or 32c tubes?

i generally use standard road width tubes (19-23c or so) in my 32c tires because they're easier to get hold of than wider ones in long stem versions. i don't have any trouble but i was wondering who goes out of their way (or maybe it's easy for you to get long stem cx tubes or maybe you dont use long stems) to get the correct width tubes?

is this poll for long stem tubes only? i use 35-38c tubes with standard valve although the rim is semi-aero.

I use the 32's mainly because they are a thicker tube or at least they feel thicker and yes they do weigh more then a road tube but the last thing I want to do is flat during a race.

i'm interested in what short and long stem people run. i think if i ran a rim that worked with standard valves i'd probably use 32c tubes too.

I use Michelin Titanium 32c (light blue) cross tubes. I haven't seen them around much, but I get them from my 'service course' suppplier.
