Disc brake rotors for cross & general riding

I'm building up a cross bike with Shimano's new Di2 hydraulic disc brakes. I've seen the XTR SM-RT99 rotors in both 160mm and 140mm sizes. I was wondering if people had any recommendations for which to go for. I was thinking 160 front and 140 rear. I weigh 145lbs and will be using this for racing cross as well as some general dirt and road riding especially if it's wet. Living in the San Francisco descents of 25-30% gradients for a block or two are not that uncommon.

I went 160/140 on a similar build and I've been happy with it, and that's for Clydesdale use.

Most cross and road disc bikes I've seen use the 160F/140R setup. But make sure the caliper mount on the frame is spaced for 140mm.
