Routing Front Brake Without Barrel Adjuster

Is there some trick to routing the front brake without the housing/cable going through a barrel adjuster? I'd like to use a cable hanger with that elbow and no barrel adjuster. However, without the barrel adjuster I can't fine tune my brake setup. Any tips?

Get mid-cable barrel adjusters. Or, dremmel the elbow piece a bit and add a barrel adjuster to the end of it.

These work well (the CHA034): http://www.jagwireusa.com/en/adjusters.html

    in line adjuster

I've got one of those inline adjusters on mine and it works fine. Its positioned at the point on the bars where the bar tape stops near the stem. One end is taped securely to the bars under the bar tape, and the other end protrudes from the bar tape so you can access it for adjustment. Works like a dream.
