    "racing" fixed bike built

    http://www.midcalracing.com/fixed/fixed.htm

This is my interpretation of an ultra racing fixed gear bike built to the 508 rules. Feels light compared to my training-equiped Pista.

The ENO hub is pretty cool, and opens up all sorts of possibilities for fixed conversions.

Looks like the fork cutting was successful . Nice touch with the Nokon housing as well. Definitely a high-end fixie.

Really nice Doug, many happy miles on it.

All that style & still under 16 lbs. Enjoy.

    fork cut

Yes, I was about as nervous cutting the fork as I was when my second boy was born (c section) 3 weeks ago. ;-) Surgery is always a little nerve racking.

    Thanks.

    Great-looking fixie, Doug

Nice work with great parts and a nice reasonable gear ratio. Congratulations on the fine build. And of course it's a Bianchi.

I'm dressing-up my workhorse commuter Pista a bit. I've added a used Brooks saddle to see how I like it and will soon try a cotton bar tape weave with a shellac finish for a different look.

Good luck in your training for FC!
