    2019 Cycling Resolutions

What are your aspirations, goals, and resolutions for this year? What will you do this year on a bike?

    -My wife needs new tires
-Both of us need new helmets
-Ride more often with my GPS, so I can upload my path/track to Google Earth

Things I'd like to do, but don't take priority:
    -Build a singlespeed/fixie freestyle bike
-Do more group rides! It's difficult because of my work schedule, but there's a great group of local riders.
I lost my phone number. Can I have yours?

    - ride strictly during Saturday afternoons at lunch breaks so to maximize my chances to make it home alive.
    - buy a gravel bike for the rest of the week so to maximize my chances to make it home alive.

    Per Eddy: ride lots.

make a third attempt at 10K miles...last two efforts were 9200 and 9300.

won't get there, but it's a good carrot to get me out when I don't necessarily feel like riding.

Ride when I can and want to.

Not ride when I can't or don't want to.

Try to bike more in the winter in anticipation of Spring and Summer and be in the best shape possible for Girona and the Swiss Alps(already booked). Look into a Cote D'Azur trip and possibly get a Colnago C64 disc. Also force myself to run after work on at least once a week mid-week weather permitting until the clock moves forward and I can schedule after work rides.

I'm actually executing most of this.

My motto for this cycling season is "variety." I want to do a variety of rides, meaning I don't want only do the same 'ole bike club rides in my area. I want to do some charitable event rides, maybe ride with other cycling clubs. Just want to add a few different rides from the norm this season.

I would like to attempt my first century ride this year.

That sounds like a plan. I remember when I accomplished my 1st century. I was nervous because I had not done a lot of riding (only rode once a week), but finished with flying colors.

What's the longest ride so far?
