    Am I a sinner?

I have a few deep brand loyalties. Bianchi, Campagnolo, Columbus and Cinelli. I recently built up an X4 and put leather on the bars. I started realizing I really like the feel of the thinner wrap. So the other day I needed to change out the bar tape on the Mega Tube. I passed on Minelli cork for a Fizek product. I love it.

We all have our transgressions ... what is it that attracts you to the thinner wrap?

I like the feel of basically the bar VS the padding of the cork making the bar thicker.

The only sin I see is not having tried something different sooner.

I do not like padded bar tape. And I only wear gloves (Non padded) on humid days. For me I just like the feel better.

So I donít think you are a sinner.

It is what ever works for you, period. Personally, that setup would be torture for me, but if your hands are not going numb or in pain, who is anybody else to judge? Ride bare bar and bare handed if that's what works for you.

Funny, never considered Cinelli cork bar tape anything but thin.

Thanks for the help. For some reason I wasn't able to post the pic, just the link. That's the old dirty cork.
