Nothing like a relaxing ride down I-95 at half the speed of any other traffic. Hope your life insurance is up-to-date!

42 kmh is 26 mph, not bad. He's very aero and getting some draft from the passing vehicles.

A buddy came back from filming an HPV show in UK, with a Dave Burrows "Windcheetah," in '86, set up exactly like this one. He'd take it on the MUT and get it up to 25 mph, no problem. Racers tried to catch his wheel; few did! It weighed at least 30#, so bicyclists would catch up on the hills. Suntour crank and rear derailleur, 6 speed freewheel, friction shifters.

The two front wheels steered with a joystick. Shifters on the post stayed in the same position relative to the joystick.

It had a canopy fiberglass cover with a windshield, but got really hot inside, so he never used it. He's the guy showing the "driver" how to work the controls.

It does seem incongruous for a person from KSA to be advocating for a better world thru reduced petroleum use. But I congratulate you. I missed some of the video, Is there a pic of the velomobile?
