    Dolomites

Would like to do a week there in 2020. Any good camps or operators? Was thinking about it and I my current thinking is to stay in one location instead of shuttling between the Italian Alps and the Dolomites. Any recommendations out there? I found one such company but the trip is short finishing with the maratona de dolamites. Another operator is a bit expensive and includes the Italian Alps.

By the way, just came back from the Swiss Alps and its FANTASTIC!
Surprising that so few make the trek to Switzerland.

A riding friend of mine used Duvine out of Somerville MA for the Dolomites and said it was excellent. He also said expensive compared to other options he's used but well worth it.
He's been on a lot of those type trips so I tend to think that's reliable information but I know nothing first hand.

Andy Hampsten's company runs one, doesn't appear to be cheap.

Dr. Cox: Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard fillings. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I did a tour with his company 19 years ago on my honeymoon (wife is a cyclist too). It was hands down the best vacation I've ever had. The week spent in Sicily after the tour was pretty nice as well.
