Been using the Garmin Edge 830 for about a week. Replaced a 520. Seems very responsive and the display is easier to read. No issues with the touch screen (so far dry conditions). No issues connecting with various ANT sensors. I use with it with a K-Edge Combo mount with a Garmin UT800 light mounted below. One nice change is the unit does not power on automatically when connected or disconnected from the charge cable. Looking to get the silicon case, but so far out of stock at US dealers.

My Edge 500 worked fine for years, Iím still using my 510 which hasnít missed a beat and am waiting for a 530 on pre order. Iíve heard some have button issues, hope I donít get one of those.
i might be in the minority here but really donít see the issue with not being able to set up the screens via an app. Once setup, I can probably count the number of data fields I change in one year on 3 fingers. An app might be nice, but not really an issue either.
