    Lynskey R420 build

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to share with you my new machine. This is my first high end bike. It's a Lynskey R420 frame decked out with SRAM Red. Frame came with Alpha Q fork, upgraded to the Zero Gravity brakes, Lynskey seatpost, Easton 90SLX bars, Ritchey WCS stem, Chris King headset, Nokon cables, Neuvation R28SL wheels(hopefully soon to be Reynolds Assault or Strikes) and for now my carry over yellow Flite saddle(which will be replaced asap). I haven't weighed the bike yet, but it feels very light. Unfortunately I messed up the chain installation and have to purchase a new one. The test ride will have to wait...

    Looks good

Curious to hear your riding impressions. You using an SRAM or Shimano chain? What were you riding before?

    sram

this is my first experience with SRAM.. the chain came with the SRAM Red group. i did manage to get on the bike for a few moments and it was real responsive unlike my current EPX 303.

Wow, you really know how to pick your first high end bike. I really like the lines of the bike. The understated paint scheme without the loud and obnoxious graphics really compliments the design. Very nice....

    awesome bike!

i like the Record group look on that bike. how does it ride? did you have to tap the bottom bracket shell as well?

just to make one recommendation as a fellow R420 owner is to try out Specialized Toupe Team saddle in White/Blue color scheme. I put it on my bike and it looks amazing. Check out Specialized website.

The bike is stiff but comfy. I like the lively feel. Last bike specialized s-works AL frame stiff not comfy!
