    Maple Wheels

Hi all, anyone have experience with MapleWheels? They advertise as made in New England which is a huge plus to me as they are within a reasonable day trip from where I live.

Thanks for the guidance CX. I appreciate the thought. If you go look I posted the same question there 2 weeks ago with no replies so I figured Id try a busier forum.

Sounds like they are only "assembled" in New England using brand name hubs & spokes married to "no-name" (Chinese) carbon rims. Why not just purchase a set of wheels from a reputable Chinese manufacturer and save a whole lot of money?

Another option would be to purchase a new (or used) set of Rovals or Aeolus wheels at a discount somewhere.

I was hoping to find someone that knew the product. Not finding anyone on a Roadbike forum, even in the Wheels and Tires sub forum would be enough to cause concern. I guess they are buying the wheel itself cheap and finishing it in NE. Certainly every element of a Wheels construction is important, the wheel itself would be confidence rattling.
