Considering your age mountain bikes have more advantages over BMX bikes. As said you're nearly 50 and no doubt you need better suspension. BMX bikes are popular among kids.

I've been riding in local terrain for the last two decades and had a few research on the different bikes. Recently I wanted to decide between the two (mountain vs BMX) and found a handy lesson online gearbikesreview.com which is prepared by the expert riders.

I came to know how these two bikes differ in the frame, brakes, wheels, gears, and the most important for senior riders suspension.

Thank you, newbie spambot, for resurrecting a thread which had mercifully died 6 months ago, while also plugging the site you are spamming for. Your post has been reported.
