    Tandem question
I have a cruiser tandem with a 3 speed Nexus hub. Last night while riding I shipped the chain twice while just pedalling along. I managed to get it back on both times, but couldn't determine what might be causing this. Pretty sure the chainrings are not bent as it's a virtually new bike--never crashed. Does anyone out there know what I might try to remedy this? Does the chain need to be tighter? Looser? Something else to look for? This is a pic of the bike if it helps diagnose what to try.

Adjust the chain so that the slack is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It would be just like adjusting the chain for a single speed.

Thanks...never had a tandem before so wasn't sure if there was a different procedure of not. Like the Prairie Home Companion quote!
