    Wahoo cycling computers

Did Wahoo discontinue the original Element cycling computer? They don't list it on their website and I can't find it on the web. I'm only finding the Bolt and Roam, even at the LBS.

Ahh. I guess they were just moving the last bit of the inventory of Elements because I recall seeing them for sale for awhile after the Roam was introduced.

    Thanks...

Is it a size issue?Do you need the larger unit?If not the Bolt is pretty much a scaled down Elemnt.

If you have older eyes you will definitely appreciate the larger unit. I am 70.

On the bolt you can zoom in.You can only have a max of 4 fields(IIRC) on full zoom though.(I have 7 fields which drops to 4 on full zoom).
You can also customise several pages to have different amounts of fields 1-10(IIRC)

heck I am 52, have 20:20 vision, and I struggle to read those numbers on my Bolt at anything other than 4-items per page. I'd love to have the original Elemnt too. But the Bolt is so pretty and incredibly reliable (unlike the Garmins my wife and I have used)

I have the Bolt and familiar with it. I was wanting the Element for my MTB. I know the Roam is supposed to be better for MTB, but after reading DCRainmaker's review, I wanted to go with the Element. I'm sure Wahoo have made some updates to the Roam, so I may have to revisit a more current review of it.

I agree the Bolt is so much slick looker on road bikes.
