    1917

Great movie. If you aren't aware, the entire film was made as one continuous scene, or at least it was made to appear that way. I was aware of this going in, and all throughout the film, I was looking for a break in the action. The closest I could see was a couple times the action briefly goes into a pitch-dark room. Definitely an amazing achievement in film making. My pick for best picture and best director, as well as some awards for technical achievement.

Thanks for the review. I am looking forward to seeing it for sure. I had no idea it is one continuous scene. Actually good to know going in.

I happened to read an article on the movie's filming the other day, and apparently there are a couple of "wipes," but they are artfully camouflaged by having the camera focus on a dark shot (e.g., the back of someone's shirt) while they occur.

I have heard excellent reviews as well, and look forward to seeing it.
More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton to be President than wanted Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has never had a wife he didn't cheat on.

"Oh my god. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. Im fd.

Found this video on the making of "1917". Don't worry, no spoilers.
