The Lounge must step up with a new cycling "rule" that to be a true cyclist, you must own or have owned a Corgi.
    It's a fire road.............
    I'm on a road bike..........

They have enough in common to blast down it.

I'll stick to adopted semi-feral cats over blueblood lap dogs, cute as they may be.

Corgis are nasty tempered little ankle biters with good PR.

Anyone who is as familiar with the royal family as I happen to be, knows this.
We just don’t realize the most significant moments of our lives when they’re happening
Back then I thought “well there'll be other days”
I didn’t realize that was the only day

    There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?
    One.
So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.

Spade apparently knows whereof he speaks!

Just today I was vacuuming out the car, w/ it's copious amounts of fur.. thinking to myself "Didn't I just do this like 5 days ago??"

-and Julio- they're not "ankle biters", you must be thinking of chihuahuas... Corgis are CALF biters.

Seems like a misleading article... for us anyway.

The alarm bells are going off because... IN ENGLAND, not enough ppl are registering their Corgis as SHOW DOGS?

    Whaa?

I'd have to agree. I love dogs as much as any Lounger (who loves dogs). But I sometimes feel that corgis, cuddlesome and irascible as they are, are a tad over-praised. A reasonably large coterie of people on this forum have dragged out the corgi schtick way past it's sell-by date. It was funny for the longest time. But it's OLD folks. The best dogs are loved dogs irrespective of breed.

I wasn't imputing those sentiments to you, LWP. Not sure how you figured I was. Just saying a corgi wouldn't be in my top 10 choices for a dog either. I do think we have the makings of a 'Loungers who think corgi's are 'meh' group, though.
