    Are Americans Really This Whiny???

... or is it that media is so biased towards the "squeaky wheel" that all we see are people whining about being "trapped" at home and not being social... and by being constantly told by the media at you will go "nutz" cooped inside, that we forget...

    Real whiners!!!

Wonder what kind of world this would be if our parents and grandparents got busy whining in May of 1942?

Also, people try to monetize Covid in subtle to outlandish ways. Both a golf tournament and NASCAR race had Covid added to the name of the event...… Covid is gonna take them to court and sue... Covid is gonna be payed!

    Rant off... for now.

5 months in and hearing from FDR that the war will simply fade away in the heat of summer and hydroxychloroquine is better than planes. guns and tanks...

My guess is there were always whiners like this, they just have a louder voice now with the 24/7 "news" media and social media.

I think its just a common topic for everyone right now: complaining about lock-down and the current situation,. Its just a way of coping. Also, with today's instant new cycle, you need the most spectacular headlines to drag in viewers. The news business is a for profit enterprise. Being factual and grounded does not make money

I think that if you went through WWII, you should be able to whine all you want now. If you haven't, HTFU!

At this time in history, the United States was not a world empire, England was all the way through WWII until 1947. England ruled that pinnacle of WORLD EMPIRE.

America enjoyed the ploy-play of U-Boats off the shores off Ireland to take down Britian and Kennedy admitted it was NOT 'OUR' war as ambassador envoye to Britain.

I could go further and further, butt it hurts. We liked Germany sort've because it would take out Britian, perhaps. Banking, #stock exchange #junkbonds and investment unsecured.

Oh, Interment of Japanese in WWII. Kind'a looked so bad too.

WHO were we as a Nation Prior to WW2?

It doesn't help that people are kind of rewarded for acting like whiny teenagers. Whining is a sign of being strong and making a stand. Not doing anything, but whining. Being a teenager is the pinnacle of one's life, isn't it? There aren't better things. Look around, every great thing to want for and want to do is aimed at teenage you.

Who complains about having rights? Who complains about not having freedom? Not being allowed to do things? Being grounded? America is adolescence without end. You don't see as much of it in other countries, if you even bother to see other countries.

ctrl-c and ctrl-v that into your rants, OP.

Yep, Londoners hid in tunnels while their city was bombed to rubble.

Now we can't face a couple of months with Grubhub delivery, Netflix and a flowbee.

It's a wonder that they were able to sit their bikes with the big balls it took to ride them at the speeds that they did on those tracks and conditions.

And they were mostly recent immigrants on a HIGH of these United States freedoms. Innovate, create, and push toward these next levels.
