    Avengers: Endgame...

Looks like it's 'endgame' for pretty much all box-office records.

Avengers Versus Godzilla sounds promising, but personally I was hoping for Crazy Rich Avengers.

Saw it today. I won't really say much about it as it's hard to without spoiling it for anyone. The wife enjoyed it, I had some problems with it, so I left a bit disappointed. It was a good ending overall, I'll give it that.

Geezus... a $358 million dollar US opening weekend... breaks the old record by $100 million (which was Infinity War).

Also, it's a $1.1 billion worldwide opening weekend.

The two big records yet to fall... it may be the first movie to earn $1 billion in the US, and it may break Avatar's worldwide take (which was $2.78 billion).

And ppl wonder why so many superhero movies come out every year? Hmm.

Would be totally ok with that, if not for all the damn furries.

Sys, you know how I feel about time travel . . . and this movie was a time travel movie. Disappointed.

I haven't seen the flick yet but agree that time travel is an overused motif to resolve a plot. Hell, in the Star Trek universe, it was used to get rid of VULCAN!

OTOH, if you use the theory that our linear perception of time is illusional and that all time occurs everywhere simultaneously, then your head has prolly already imploded, thus removing you from the commentary omniverse.

I blame "Superman", when he flies backwards around the Earth. We let them get away with it then and,,, Oh wait, there was ending of "2001"....

I saw it last night. Overall, a good movie to round out Phase 3 of Marvel movies (though Spiderman far from home is technically the last movie from Phase 3).

My wife loved it, our exchange student was "Shook" and I really enjoyed it but had some issues with plot points/holes created.

The ending was pretty fitting and enjoyable.

You can already see who will be the major players moving forward and who will be on the Avengers team for the next movie (the Avengers team changes on a regular basis in the comics).

Why the last 20 years of my life has been awesome and I feel so lucky, Mrs. TMB has seen every MCU movie and sobbed at the end of Endgame. She has embraced my nerdism.

Thought the movie was exceptional, a giant fan love letter from Marvel and that is just fine by me.

If time travel is so easy in the MCU why don't they go back in time and save the Fantastic Four from the hot pile of mess its become. Seriously, I thought Galactus would make an appearance in Endgame because who is more powerful than Thanos?

We saw it last night - very good movie and I've only seen a couple of the previous Avenger movies so didn't catch all the 'Easter Eggs' the rest of my family did. It sure was a long movie, don't drink a mega sized beverage during it or you will probably be doing the 'gotta-pee' walk/run to the restroom when it's over.

It was a good ending/wrap up, even if I don't dig time travel solutions to problems in movies. My hope is that with The X-men back in the fold we might finally see some decent xmovies (dark phoenix looks like it will continue the "terrible" trend).

John really wants to see this in IMAX. We tried this weekend, but sold out (sigh of relief- best to see it during the week without the mobs of kids.)

I'm one of those pretentious "ugh more hollywood drivel" movie snobs, so I don't really care, but I'm sure it'll be fun. Been on a documentary kick lately, which is much more satisfying IMO.

I think you should go back in time and prevent time-travel from ever becoming a thing in TV shows and movies.

Though of course, that would be sorta hypocritical...

2.2 billion in 11 days, the entire MCU collection has made over 18.5 billion. Almost as profitable as government military contracts for hammers and tools.
