    Big Bang Theory (show)

Sorry if this has already been done. I am curious to know if anyone here watches the Big Bang Theory?? What do you like about it? I happen to enjoy it and find it quite humorous, how does everyone feel about it?

I sometimes catch episodes when I'm flying. I get a kick out of the Sheldon character making fun of the other main character because he's an empiricist instead of a theoretician.

"Sheldon, would you like some chili?"
"Does it have beans in it?"
    "Yes"
    "Then it's not chili."

I used to watch it but in typical tv fashion they're destroying what made it worth watching. It's getting a little heavy-handed on the romance angle and I'm liking and watching it less. When they finally have Sheldon get laid, I'm done with the show completely.

I have used a Sheldon quote at work producing the desired outcome.

"Engineering: where the noble,semi-skilled laborers execute the vision of those who think and dream."

My husband can be a Leonard sometimes... geeky-cute.

He loved it from the get-go. I had to warm up to it. Now we Tivo it so we don't miss it.

Some episodes are spectacular...some are major misses.

Overall I enjoy it, and it's on my TIVO list.

Community is by far my favorite show, and I can't believe they stuck it on hiatus until next year..
I know we just met and this is crazy....

    The Big Bang Theory Forums

I've been a fan of it for years and on this above forum board as well.

Leonard: What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?
    Sheldon: Screwed.
    Leonard: There you go.

    __________________________

Sheldon: *knock knock knock* Leonard? *knock knock knock* Leonard? *knock knock knock* Leonard?
Leonard: *opens door* What Sheldon! What Sheldon! What Sheldon!
Sheldon: Tell me what you see here. (Holding his laptop.)
Leonard: The blunt instrument that will be the focus of my murder trial?

    ___________________________

Sheldon: Everyone at the university knows I eat breakfast at 8:00 and move my bowels at 8:20.
Leonard: Yes, how did we live before Twitter?

I think to re-phase this question correctly would be to say who reads Randall Munroe and is inspired by his craft?

    The answer could be?

The Big Bang Theory Steven Molaro

The Big Bang Theory Bill Prady

The ONLY show I will go out of my way to watch...I carry season 3 on my mp3 player just for assurance!

I'm a nerd too.......watching it with my kids is a hoot (one teacher, one doctor, one physicist and one kid just too fricking smart for his or anyone elses good!!)
    Of course I'm sure...that doesn't mean I'm right.....

I liked it a lot when I first started watching it but it just kinda became the same show rehashed after a while. I still catch it and enjoy it now and then, I'm just not all that into TV to begin with I guess.

Wife and kids dvr it, wear t-shirts with Sheldon phrases... yep we are a family of geeks.

If you dvr it be sure to pause and read the written diatribes by Chuck Lorrie, the producer, that display very briefly at the end of each episode.

As the Missus says above we can't miss it. I'm ok with being a Leonard, as long as I'm not a Sheldon.

PS. Bernadette is the cute one... She=Mary Ann, Penny=Ginger.
