The 737 seems to be having a few issues these days.

I think that is unlikely that Iran would shoot down a civilian plane. That is false news until proven.

On a bike, you fall 3', in a plane you fall 30000ft. It really isn't the impact, it is knowing the impact is coming for 1 minute at least.

And all that about Iran is false news, bring it back when it is proven please.

    Of course I'm sure...that doesn't mean I'm right.....

It's possible the sun super nova's and that caused it too? (although that can't happen, it's too little)

    Iran has admitted it:

"After maintaining for days that there was no evidence to show one of its missiles had struck the plane, the Iranian military said it was an accident caused by human error."

Can I speculate on shifting the goalposts again at some point?

Seriously, you took the prudent(?) view, facts showed what everyone hoped wasn't the case, was. Trying to reverse assign blame just makes you look silly and petty. We've heard forever it's the fault of the weapon and/or trigger puller. Anything else is noise, sorry.

EDIT- Also, alternative view using your tack, is that Iran went with the lowest common denominator and resorted to RETALIATION as their course of behavior, thereby resulting in innocent lives being lost. Once you allow yourself to not be so beholden to one way of ideological thinking, the ability to see all sides of a situation become that much easier.

    ibtm...

But yeah, the emails and messages now being leaked from Boeing show a lot of folks have had serious doubts and fears about the 737 Max for a long time now. I don't know if Boeing is done as they have their fingers in a lot of pies, but they are going to take a serious hit for a while.

Is Boeing too big/strategic to fail?

You can speculate all you want, but all those beginning posts were base on zilch!
& I'm the one grasping for straws?
I didn't say who did it, but it was very similar to many other crashes which is more than fox news bases their reports on. Who you going with?
And did you answer my question... would you get on 'that' plane?

They were speculative, yes. Of course, this response has nothing to do with my comment in relation to what I quoted by you, which was an attempt to change the course of the 'argument' once the facts showed you were sitting in the wrong circle. You posted this with the premise (hope?) that this was a plane that experienced whatever has plagued the Boeing 737 Max planes, you were wrong. Accept it and move on. Or don't.

Yes, you are. You are so beholden to your beliefs, while trying to maintain some moral high ground by hedging your comments, that you come out with stupid stuff like this:

So, Fox News is bad and irresponsible. I'm going to take advantage of your willingness to jump around in a debate and posit this: how many people were killed in the retaliation attack, sans plane? How many did MSNBC immediately say were? Reeeeeeeeeeeeee

And how was it similar, beyond being a Boeing 737 that was believed to have crashed?

A 737 Max? Moot point as I believe they are grounded, no? Was this the same plane? Also, making this question further academic is the FACT that is shot down out of the sky. So....

Actually the stock isn't doing bad considering. There are many other divisions that are doing well.
