Bad Santa and Die Hard. C’mon Billy Bob Thornton and Bruce Willis make the season complete. And a HUGE honorable mention to the late great Alan Rickman.

    SPOILLER ALERT!!!!

I heard than Rickman had been told that he would be released on "three" but the word had been passed to let go on "one" giving us iconic (honest) scene!!!

Wasn't "Ordinary People" a movie that took place at Christmas? Man, I wanted to strangle Mary Tyler Moore...she was pure evil in that film.

I'll add "Greenbook" to the list, since I just watched it yesterday. Good flick.
    Insert something clever here:

The Fast And The Furious movies were started by a story about hijacking a semi full of DVD players on the way to the store for the holidays. F&F is a Christmas franchise.
I lost my phone number. Can I have yours?

I believe that's Rankin and Bass's "The Year Without a Santa Claus" with Mickey Rooney and Shirley Booth...

Her performance was excellent, as was Donald Sutherland's and the young man whose name I can't recall...Timothy something. Gut-wrenching film to watch that it still makes me emotional, and I haven't seen it in at least 25 years.

I just watched Bad Santa for the first time this year--it is one of the worst things I have ever watched. I only kept going because I thought it would get better.

    Spoiler alert: it didn't.

My Christmas viewing this year was going through the series of early Bond movies--they have been digitally restored and stream free on Amazon. Most I haven't watched since they were new, or nearly new. Somewhat better than I remembered.

Then I watched the first Roger Moore Bond--boy, did that suck!
