    From CHI-NA

I know China fakes everything. Any experience with buying stuff like this from them and expecting it to be the real deal?? I'm not considering, just wondering. Would they really fake these?? IDK.

I used to think "no one would waste the time and money to fake such and such" thinking it just wouldn't be lucrative or making a fake wouldn't be any easier/cheaper than the real thing so why bother.

I've since learned I was wrong and pretty much nothing is off limits.

I have no idea about those pedals specifically but yes someone really would fake those pedals and pretty much anything you can think of.

Kind of a different topic but I remember reading when I was into watches that some of the fakes were actually half decent watches so someone started selling fakes of the fakes.

Near the top it lists the spindle diameter as 1/2".

Further down it specs it correctly at 9/16"

The ad has too many grammatical and spelling errors. In my opinion, that's a reflection of the product you'll get.

China has figured out how to counterfeit everything, including the truth.

Yes China would and surely does fake them.

I doubt those are fake though. They're $10 more than what you can but them for in the U.S. I'd expect them to be $50 if they were faked.

These are my thoughts as well. Just had to believe they fake SO much. What a market.

I do not believe they are fake. Look at the ebayer, it appears to be a cycling store of some sorts. Typically when you find fake crap, it's a giant clearing house of everything under the sun for sale. Everything he has is cycling related, and the prices appear to be in line with what we would expect to pay (sometimes more, sometimes less).

My guess, seeing as I am sure there are actual LBS style stores in China, this is most likely an LBS or similar.
