Collin Bikes v2 and v3- the anonymous project

The generosity of the RBR membership never ceases to amaze me.

I was contacted about 3 weeks ago asking if I’d be interested in building up another project bike for Collin.

The details of this project are going to remain a secret and the 2 different donors have asked to remain anonymous

Here is what I can tell you now.

Project v2 will be auctioned off as a frameset on eBay probably starting this weekend. I’ll let everyone know when it goes up so we can spread the word.
What I need is someone that is gifted in the English language that will write the auction similar to Vaughn’s.
    Please PM me if interested

Project v3 will remain a closely guarded secret until the bike is complete- I will say that the components and the frameset will knock your socks off.
In order to complete v3, I’m looking for a set of modern looking Shimano compatible 9/10 speed wheels and a 42cm-44cm black 31.8 bars. If anyone is interested in donating these parts to the v3 bike, please PM me… I’ll take care of the rest.

We want to keep this entire project anonymous

I’m speechless as to the generosity of these two individuals….

This really is a special place…..

Damn, I have three set of bars but no wheels. If wheels can not be found, I would be more than glad to donate some cash to pick up a pair.
Just fast enough to know I am slow.

    Here is an update

The V2 frame has a slight flaw and it's being repaired before it's listed in eBay

The V3 bike has parts rolling in...once I get all the parts, I will build it. This bike is going to ROCK

I don't mind listing up the auction wordings. I somehow missed this thread earlier actually.

In any case, this is wicked cool!

My bikes will continue to proudly wear the Team Collin sticker. Glad to hear the fundraising is still happening.
