Smile The Day the Corgis Came!

What's that I hear? The sound of tiny furry feet (paws)? Can it really be... it is! It is! The USPS CorgiFleet (tm) has run all the way from Hollywood to Araby, fresh Lounge kits held firmly in their hot wet furry mouths, packets of Skittles too, oh yay oh yay, calloo callay!

Yes: my Lounge kits have finally arrived in the Gulf.

Sorry, only gloomy indoor post-ride yoga shots today - I may get some out in the desert at the weekend. [Gulf kit-in-the-Gulf-with-the-Gulf-liveried-BMC pics to follow.]

In case you're wondering, that Trek is a good bike. Also, the medium race cut was spot-on, yeaaaahhhh. Also also, it may just be me, but I was getting way more attention than usual... As the Women's Tour of Qatar route is now signposted around the country they may be mistaking me for one of the wimminz in training, but the long beard should disabuse them, on closer inspection.

Do keep up weltyed, it says so right there in the post!

Keep those Photochops coming. The first two are straight out of my old photo albums (college and Cuba respectively).

Sadly the CorgiFleet (tm) had scampered off before I could get snaps. They're surprisingly quick on those tiny legs of theirs.

Oh horrors! Do I spy a wee dork disk on that good bike?!
They do anything just to win a salami in ridiculous races. I take my gear out of the car and put my bike together. Tourists and locals are watching from sidewalk cafes. Non-racers. The emptiness of those lives shocks me. It was the illest of times, it was the dopest of times. And we looked damn good. Actually the autobus broke down somewhere on the Mortirolo.
